• Agricultural Insights: Experience Romanian agriculture firsthand through visits to large-scale cereal, sheep, dairy, and Angus beef operations. Learn about crop production, farm management, livestock production, pasture management, processing, and the opportunities and challenges facing Romanian farmers.

• Meet Romanian Agricultural Leaders: Begin the tour with a presentation from a director of the National Forum of Farmers and Agricultural Producers (FAPPR), exploring Romania's major crops and livestock sectors and its role within European agriculture.

• Explore Bucharest & Transylvania: Discover Romania's capital, Bucharest, along with the medieval cities of Brașov, Sighișoara, and Sibiu.

• Castles & Historic Landmarks: Visit iconic Bran Castle, the historic Peleș Castle, Sinaia Monastery, Cozia Monastery, and the spectacular Turda Salt Mine.

• Experience Traditional Rural Life: Spend the night in Viscri, a remarkable Saxon village, staying in restored traditional peasant houses. Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride through the countryside and meet local craftspeople preserving traditional skills.

• Farm-to-Table Experiences: Taste the flavors of Romania through farm visits, traditional cheeses, artisan foods, Romanian wines, fruit brandies, and craft beer.

The 12-day journey begins with departure from Chicago and includes 10 nights in superior tourist-class accommodations, transportation by luxury air-conditioned motorcoach, sightseeing, technical agricultural visits, and the services of a full-time professional tour manager with an agricultural background.

The tour includes 10 breakfasts, 9 lunches, and 3 dinners, along with a variety of unique dining and tasting experiences throughout the journey.
